These goblins have a rough skin that can go from brown to dark grey and are stronger and less smarter than the average for goblin sub-races, however they tend to have a very good thought process for military tactics. Their thick bones, broad figures, potential for increased muscle mass, while being mentally pragmatic and flexible as them being considered the perfect soldiers by other goblins. Their canines are of average size but their ears are the smallest ears of all goblins.
Their purple-black-white eyes are slightly larger than the average goblin granting them a slightly better sight in the dark. They have very thick and curly hair of black-white-grey shades which tends to stay short, much like their facial and body hair which is evenly spread around their bodies.
Before the time of the Goblin Empire the mountain goblins were the soldiers and victims of the various disputes between the Cave and Snow goblin arguments, with the empire only reducing the damages these disputes caused to their populations. Their natural strengths and tactical minds turned them into the second biggest military power of the continent, but still under the control of the snow and cave goblins. With no appreciation for their capabilities and often being the victims of disastrous plans of the empire, they began to spite the other goblin races and their nations. The Cataclysm of Rorolark barely touched their armies only losing a few of their most elite warriors sent into the military parades. They freed the Mountain King, that whispered promises, from the Hargride Catacombs and pledged their service to him.
They enslaved all of the snow and cave goblin that ran back to the Wurmback Mountains and restored the Mountain King's kingdom of old and conquered most of the races of the mountains. This made them the Mountain King most favoured servants. To this day they maintain their pledge of service to the mountain king, but with the recent defeats suffered at the hands of the Republic and the Nragian Mafia and the betrayal of 300 soldiers which escaped with a lot of slaves the mountain king is beginning to reconsider his favouritism.
